Nene Soumah is a master dancer from the Repubique of Guinea, West Africa. As a member of Guinea's National Ballet Djoliba she has toured and performed throughout the world gaining a strong reputatation as a vibrant and brilliant performer and expert teacher. Nene has won awards with Ballet Djoliba at the "Jeux de la Fracophone" in Paris, France (1994) and is certified with Guinea's, "Directior Nationale de la Culture" as a professional representative of Guinea's rich music, dance and culture. Since 1999, Nene has instructed for the Fore-Fote School of Drum and Dance in Guinea and has received considerable acclaim for her easy-to-follow teaching style and attention to detail.
