Trommer og Danse Klasser The Djembe
and Dance Workshop Series is the conerstone of the
Forè-Foté School of Drum and Dance curriculum. The award-winning program
developed by Forè-Foté member, Aboubacar Miguel Camara, and incorporated into all
of Forè-Foté's Europe. workshops combines intensive hands-on training with
in-depth multi-media, lecture and analysis for a complete and
comprehensive perspective into the traditional music and culture of Guinea
and the sur-rounding areas. Workshops are held throughout the year and are
conducted in six-week series for maximum flexibility, student retention
and student budgets. No two series are completely alike. Instructors
choose from a variety of level-appropriate rhythms, exercises,
arrangements and techniques that best suit the students' needs during the
specific session while preparing them for graduation and certification
